“I WAS TOLD I WILL GET PREGNANT IF I SLEEP WITH ANOTHER MAN”
Adesoji and Folashade thought they would have a baby immediately after marriage but found that they had to wait for more than thirteen years to have their first issue. Countless scenarios of shame, pressure and abuse followed. Folashade turned down invitations to some churches that had questionable practices – never lost her faith in God. She was advised to sleep with another man but she held on together with her husband using the phrase “God is too big to fail”.In April 2017, a pregnancy test which was positive and they had their first baby in December 2017 after 13 years of waiting.
